November 3, 2011 session

Great turnout last night! Our model Jim inspired some nice studies by artists who include: Russ Eike, Rachel Gordon Bernstein, Ruth Waldman, Areana Solano, Marcia Heisler, Ester Levy, Jean Li, Hanna LeFeona, APLSD21, Suk Ryae Han, Louis Spitz, Jim McNaughton, Luren Boer, Allan Rosenberg, Christie Washburn, Melanie Rodriguez, and Janet Hamlin.

A cozy pre-storm session brought out some nice studies from our artists last week. Work shown here is by: Lauren Boer, Judi Sherman, Allan Rosenberg, Jess Dow, Christie Washburn, Jim Ramsay, Rachel Gordon Bernstein, Michael Gaffrey, David Del Campo, and Janet Hamlin. Our model was Nick.
We ARE having a session this week so please plan on attending! 


IMPORTANT SHOW NOTE: If you are entering this year's show, bring work you'd like me to review on 11/3 or plan on bringing in no more than 2 framed works to Hopper House on 11/14, or 11/15. They need not be Hopper themed, but should be figurative work done in our sessions. Show opens on Nov. 20th. 
I will provide those details in a future posting.

Yes we ARE having a session this week!

No storm can stop us.. bring your supplies and cozy on up for some drawing this week. 
AND-very important- our annual 'Focus on the Figure' show is coming up quickly. If you want
to be featured, you must have your framed artwork to us by the 14th or 15th of Nov. and we can
only accept up to two entries per artist due to having a smaller portion of the gallery. 
Please enter! I want us to show off the great work we do, and having an opportunity to be featured in
the Hopper House galleries is a wonderful thing. Our show will open on Nov. 20th, I'll post 
exact time.
No session on Thanksgiving so plan accordingly.
