Nyack Center figure drawing long pose 2011-10-24

We had the perfect model for a Hopper scene - Sarah - but we had to move some furniture and lights to fake a window, and also use some imagination. I think these came out well! People who came were Allan Rosenberg, Lauren Boer, Jim McNaughton, Walter Veloso, Russ Eike, Janet Hamlin, and Christie Washburn.

October 20 figure drawing session

This Monday Oct 24 will be the long pose, and it will be a Hopper-inspired nude pose! Our figure drawing show FOCUS ON THE FIGURE, must be Hopper-inspired work to be in the Dec. show at Hopper House Gallery. Sarah will be our model, 7:30-10 at Nyack Center.

October 13 2011 figure drawing session

Fall is upon us, and apple season is in full swing. Christie Washburn surprised us with a fresh apple pie during this session- what a treat, along with fruit and our usual bad-for-you but oh so good eats. We had an excellent turnout, and our model Sarah struck some inspiring poses.
