July 24 drawing - David

Thanks to everyone who  pitched in to help set up and break down!  You make the group happen.  David was our model, and besides helping, gave us very good poses.  Among the artists were Christina, Gabi, Meaghan, Leah, Dan, Edi, Sandy, and Christie.

Next week is the last session of the summer.  Our model will be Sarah, and we will have a long pose.

July 17 drawing session - Sarah

Sarah was the model, always a favorite.  There were quick poses and then a long pose, with some wonderful results, as you can see.  This is an opportunity we don't normally have, to spend more time on a single drawing.

There will be 2 more long poses in July.  David will be the model next week, and Sarah will return for the last session of the summer, on July 31.   Regular sessions will resume September 11.

Drawing July 10 2014

Terry bicycled from NYC to be our model, and inspired some very nice work, as you can see.  The artists were A., Andrew DeBellis, Sandy Bandes, Edi Sandoval, David Spatz, Trine Giaever, and Christie Washburn.

This coming Thursday we will have one of our favorite models of all time, Sarah.

We will do the quick poses to warm up, then will choose a pose for the remainder of the evening.  It is a chance to go into a drawing more deeply (or to move around).  It is also a chance to paint.  If you do paint, please protect our new floor.
