Come to the '76 House in Old Tappan, NJ to sketch and hear the best jazz musicians from NYC. No cover charge BUT one drink minimum to support this venue. The "sketchers" are required to split the cost of the model - usually a few dollars each.
If you are a history buff - you'll be interested in knowing that the 76 House is the oldest tavern in New York State and was a hangout for George Washington. You will enjoy an atmosphere chock full of ambiance and charm.
Bring a sketchbook, pencils, pens, whatever you like to work in. Or - just bring yourself and an appetite - the food is fabulous! NEW late nite menu till 10 PM.
