They did offer us the use of Hopper's bedroom for our figure drawing session but it's just too small for us. So I declined, and we will cancel our Thursday May 3rd session instead. Hopper House is very grateful for our flexibility.
I believe in all of our programs co-operating and supporting each other whenever possible, and we do have our affiliation with HH - they post about us on their site, bringing in more of you lovely artists, and host our annual fotf show in the gallery.
The good news is that we have our long pose on Monday, April 30th- so you can get your drawing in for the week, just a little earlier :)
Also on another note, the YMCA has some of our local youth's paintings on permanent display that were created during last summer's painting class with our own Melanie Rodriguez. Check them out next time you're at the Y.
