Bill Sayles ran figure drawing out of the Hopper House for several years, long before my involvement. He helped curate shows of community work. Our community here is so much the richer for his involvement in the arts over the decades.
His family will be receiving guests and sitting shiva at 12 Mansfield av. South nyack.
Saturday noon to 8pm. And sunday after the burial so approx 1:30 or so to 8 pm.
Graveside service at Temple Israel Memorial Park, Blauvelt on Sunday. Noon to 1.

Bill gave me my first show as feature in 1994 focus on the figure at Hopper. I used to like to watch him paint with coffee during the sessions.
